Tranzform Group Poll - The gulf between Strategy and Execution -  How many of your business projects have achieved 100% of the forecasted benefits?

Tranzform Group recently polled 1500 people from Australia’s top 200 corporate and government organisations to see if they really set up their business projects to guarantee achievement of the expected benefits. This identified something really interesting – that the business sponsors and key stakeholders (or benefit ‘realisers’) are much more positive about achieving project benefits than those working on the project to enable the benefits (whom we call benefit ‘enablers’).

We felt this gap warranted further explanation, so we sought feedback to a slightly different question:

“Over the last three years, what percentage of your projects have delivered 100% of the benefits as forecast in the original business case used to gain approval and funding?"
